    Glad I bought he 9 inch then. Bought the 7" in 6.5 for my Creedmoor but that should be fine for that application.

    Thanks. Just ordered 5 boxes of 20 and am excited to give them a go. Should have my Bowers 458 can approved in the next week or two as well. Any good load data on the 500g? I have only loaded supersonic so far.

    That's exactly what I would expect. going from 5-7-9 inch ultra then 338. I just have the Ultra 9 for now but a 338 looks like it is in my future.

    I would love to compare the TB 338 to the Ultra 9 on a 308! I had thought about doing the same but wasn't sure about the size, cost and weight. I'm itching for a 338 Lapua so maybe I just will... in a year or so... when it would get approved.

    Yes. IMO, it is slightly quieter with the muzzle brake as it acts like an extra baffle. Down side is a little more length

    I agree. However, I already had an Octane 45 and several pistons and fixed spacer for everything I own so I ordered the Rugged as it takes the same pistons.

    Just ordered some and waiting for production. My experience with subsonic 300BLK with hogs here in TX was that it just punched a hole and did little damage unless shot placement was perfect. 50% of the time, the hogs ran off but the ones that didn't had very small exit holes and I often hit...

    Currently, I have LaRue, Bobro and Alamo 4 star (now ZROdelta). All have performed well but I prefer the Alamo four star. The Bobro performed the best on testing but the 34mm mount is a fat pig. You've probably seen this, but info here on a test done on these mounts...
