Hello all, I have the opportunity to purchase a Remington 700 SPS in 300 win mag. Owner (friend of a friend) says it only has 20 rounds down it. He is asking $450. Was thinking of offering $400.00. I don't need another rifle, nor am I looking for a 300 win mag, just though it was a good...

^^LOL! Thanks!~ You aren't kidding...she's pretty smart, she knows what some of them look like and when she sees something new, is like, what is that? LOL! No thoughts on the next one yet...I've been looking around on the forums here and see plenty of sticks I like!

I haven't had an opportunity to shoot it yet...just messed around with it in the garage and house, LOL, and it appears to stay free floated. No contact with the barrel. I like to hear this! I will probably add the FN bottom metal w/the 10 rd TBM setup down the road. Keep me posted on...

Thanks for the responses all. M21: yeah, you know how it is down here in the summer! Hot, humid, buggy and miserable! Plus I'm in the middle of the swamp! LOL Yeah, the wrap is pretty cool stuff. I've done a few of my rigs with it. I like that it breaks up the big black blob of a scope...
