I am using my savage 110 action for a 284 Win build. Problem is, it has a SA magazine box. Has anybody done a conversion? I would like to stay blind magazine if possible. Can you mill the bottom of the action and install a LA magazine box?

Can someone explain to me how people are measuring their groups? I've read some posts on here that say they are shooting .300 WM groups of .150" or so. That's smaller than the bullet. Ben

Does the 3-15x42 SWFA compare well to the 5-20 SWFA scopes? There seems to be a big price difference but spec the same for the most part. Ben

I would love a NF NXS but at the moment im looking at less expensive options. I do like that I can get a FFP scope for under 800 with the SWFA. Thanks everybody for the input. Ben

Thanks John. My only hesitation with them is that they don't make a model with variable power in MOA adjustment. But I am just used to MOA and I don't think it would take much to convert. Ben

EasyGravy, any recommendations on a tougher scope in that price range? I know that you get what you pay for, but I'm on a tighter budget. Also, my gun is pretty heavy with little recoil. It's a Rem. 700 Sendero with an AICS chassis.
