    Rifle Scopes Scope bottoming out?

Cut me some slack guys as I'm still learning as this is my first custom rifle. It appears that I'm bottoming out on elevation. the mount isn't backward. At 100 yard, I've moved the elevation adjustment all the way down and the scope is still shooting about 12" high. Here's the setup...

    light primer strikes rem 700

I am experiencing the same issue on my customized Remy 700, action built by Long Rifle Inc. I installed a Timney 510 and I'm getting about 5 rounds out of 50 that won't fire but does have light primer strikes. I am in the process of contacting Timney and waiting to see their response.

The 6.8 is still impressing me.

From what I've read, if you are going to SBR a 6.8. Go with 12.5". I believe its the best length for velocity lost and etc. I've taken a deer with the 12.5 setup at about 175 yards. I hit the deer in the lung area, the deer took 20 steps and just dropped. My plan is to put a suppressor on...

High points/low poinTs, of H&K and Springfield

If you are recoil sensitive. You are going to feel it with the HK system. more of a jolt. However, with the PSG, it will be less than the standard HK91/G3 due to the weight of the rifle. The M1A will be more forgiving in terms of recoil and more of a shove to the shoulder.

    Aeroprecision

Aero is GTG. quality stuff. I've built many ar15 based on their lower and their upper. They have a bum rap I believe they raised their prices during the craziness when upper and lowers couldn't be found and aero tried to capitalize. If you go to their website, you can get a forged blem upper...

Should I sell everything I own for a DTA!?!?!?

I wouldn't do it. Having shot a friends DTA, they are neat and accurate + if you suppress it, it's a very compact package. In the long run, variety is a spice of life. My friend who owns the DTA, started with the DTA, but now have multiple AR-15s. LOL.

    Interesting short barrel .260 findings...

This is relevant to my interest. LRI group buy is currently building(blueprint receiver, chamber, fluting bolt...) my Remy 700 in 260 remington. I had them cut the Bartlein barrel to 22" + thread barrel end in my build as well. I chose it because of the OAL of the rifle and I will be shooting...

    The Manners Wait.....

Wow! 6 months wait? I thought it was 8 to 12 weeks wait. I ordered the T4-A from Stockys in anticipation of my upcoming LRI Group buy rifle. Can anyone confirm that when you order from Stocky's, they charge you even when the items is out of stock? I've been billed but no stock yet.
