    Blue Book says 98% condition is worth $495 down to $275 in 90% condition with a $14 addition for your 6" barrel and another $35 for white outline rear site and another $60 for TS, TT, TH, RR and WO. That being said, shops in my area have been ratcheting up their prices on older Smith's.

    AR Fluted Barrels

    I've got a VLTOR VIS upper I want to complete a build on. The entire receiver is billet and a little muzzle heavy with the 18" WOA barrel I intended to use so I thought I'd cut it back a little and save some weight.

    Going hog hunting in a few weeks and was looking to try a new sour mash recipe. I usually brew up some corn, sugar, jello and yeast but I've seen others add everything including lard, lye, corn oil and sour milk. What ingredients do you find get the best results?

    Sidearms & Scatterguns I was considering a Sig P220.. but now I'm not so sure.

    I'm not sure if this helps, but is the Sig 227 on store shelves yet? That would address your capacity concerns. I like the 220 because the controls mirror my 226, 228 & 229's. I don't own an HK in 45 but I do own a .40 USP and as a leftie I like its ambi controls.
