Re: SAKO RATTLING BOLT-ADVICE PLEASE It feels ok with a round in the chamber but this as you know is quite a good quality gun and I woudn't have thought it was like this new. What would have worn to make it so loose when empty?

Gunsmithing SAKO RATTLING BOLT-ADVICE PLEASE

Just inherited a Sako model 75 Hunter in 243, bore looks good not much wear but the bolt seems to rattle a bit with a little movement fore and aft when <span style="font-style: italic">not</span> cocked. It tightens up some when cocked but the bolt handle when cocked can be lifted very easy...
