    Gunsmithing X-caliber barrels???

Thats exactly what they are doing. I found a 7mm 1.25" on eBay for a very good price. But I'd rather not chance buying a lemon since I would still need to get it chambered, contoured, and threaded. It would be worth it buy a barrel from a more well known maker at that point. -B2

    Gunsmithing X-caliber barrels???

Good morning folks. I was shopping around for a 7mm barrel blank and happens to stumble on a company called X-Caliber barrels. Www.x-caliber.net Anyone on here ever heard of them? I've searched on here and with Google and can't find a lot of info other than their corporate page I...

    243 vs. 6x47 Lapua

    243 vs. 6x47 Lapua

Re: 243 vs. 6x47 Lapua -Huckleberry75 So am I taking it correctly that the higher pressures will degrade the performance when the temp gets above a certain point? Would changing to a different powder have any effect on this? Thanks for the info guys.

    243 vs. 6x47 Lapua

Re: 243 vs. 6x47 Lapua JCH Not sure what you mean when you're talking about the "donut." I'm pretty green when it comes to reloading.

    243 vs. 6x47 Lapua

Greetings all. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I'm starting to get into reloading and I'm looking at building either a 243 or 6x47 Lapua. I've heard that because of how hot it gets here in OK that the 243 is the better way to go. Is that true and if so, why? -Brandon
