Re: Newbie looking to buy first suppressor
I have the AAC m4-2000 and the AAC 762SD. If I had to do it over I would get the AAC 762SDN-6 first and then think about one of the shorter, lighter cans for the 223.

I just sold one that I had for years. Never had any problems out of it but just did not shoot it that much. The spare parts availability was the only problem I had.
The prices have come down a little, more like $2500 or less if you shop around.

I set a good friend of mine up with a box of cor-bon dpx for his first hunting season. Shot decent groups out of his ar15. He killed a very nice 8 point with it at less than 100 yards. And it was his first hunting season. The barnes bullets always do the job...

The last time I heard the surefire and aac cans fired together the aac was much quieter. I have not had any problems with the 762sd can and the mounts. Mine lock up tight, just keep an eye on the spring it does wear out over time.

I picked up my TRG 22 used and it came with the bipod, scope mount and the muzzle break.
The muzzle break looks decent but I never used it. It just seems to big. Makes an interesting paperweight though. I use the AAC 762sd muzzle break and suppressor.

So for now as long as we use the factory mags the T3 varmint or tactical models in .223 it will work. The AI mags would be nice so keep us posted if you come up with a mag mod.

From your description of what your looking for it sounds like the cz sp01 is perfect. I have had several of the cz 75 variations and they are quite good for the money. Not as accurate as the cz-75's I've had in the past but still very good.
