I got my can after a LONG wait, purchased it for my 300win mag. Shot it a bit and was happy to see no POI shift, but the damn thing kicks harder! Anyone else encounter this? I am running 220SMKs at 2900fps, out of a 8 twist Rock creek, normally with a 3 port break.
Just order a bimetal blade from MSC, then you will have no problems. And yes, run it slow. I use them to cut all types of steel, S7, 3V, A2, on and on. I am assuming it is annealed, non hardened? If you have any questions, shoot me a PM.
Chad, that is some of the best work I have seen in Ti! Would you please forward me your feeds, speeds, and the tools you used. I cut lots of 6AL4VTi, LOTS, never came out that clean!

I am building a 243AI, on a Stiller Tac30, with Bartlien straight taper #9 barrel. I want to put it in a AX chassis, will I have any issues? I will be running a a Nightforce ATACR optic, 5-25X56. Will ring height be a problem? Also, will the AX us standard AI mags? Thanks

Re: GAP 300 WM build. I have a 1-8" twist Rock in my 300. I love it, I can run everything from 180, up to 240. With that said, I would go with a 1-10" for sure. Also, I run a McRees 3 port muzzle brake. I can shoot all day long, recoil is nothing.
