    I currently have a 10x HD and I think its great out to about +-600, but you could use a little more after that. The clarity is decent for the price.

    We can only go out to 500 by me, I know thats not LR but it is if you use a .22. Ive been lucky enough to be invited to Butner a few times which is nice

    What part of NC you moving to? The guys I hang out with shoot on private land. There are so many trees here that its hard to find a good opening, unless you are in the sandhills

    Go with the Barnes. I dont personally own one, but have shot one and know people with them and they rave about well built it is.

    Might check out Barnes Precision Machine. They are a smaller maker in North Carolina that makes some great quality rifles. Their customer service is spot on
