Did you just try to compare that car doing a shakedown run in any way to a production vehicle? I hope not, because if that's the case and you want to see really fast, I'll post up some videos of the jet cars out on the salt flats.
I don't think you're going to see any real difference in buffers as per faster follow-up shots. I've only run M16 BCG's in my rifles thus far so I can't speak on the Semi vs. Auto part. A standard Carbine Buffer or H2 buffer will suit you fine. They're cheap enough I'd recommend you pick up...
Finally got home and I was able to install and run these BCG's. I agree with the observation about the machined surface. Cycles smooth though, so it's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. The carrier is definitely a different finish, and I'm leaning toward it being the ceramic as well. Nice...
