Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
that's what i told my wife as well. She then did the reverse math and still gave me a piece of her mind, but didn't particularly object because she knew i was going to buy my new XRS2 in the next few months anyway, so at least this way she got something out of the deal!
initially, the Elite Tactical Lines WERE NOT excluded from the promotion. After a few of us called them to clarify and jumped on it, they decided to exclude them. If you give them a call or chat them up on Facebook you may be able to still get them to honor it for you. I went ahead and...
done, some of those questions were none of their business though, and they get pretty deep depending on what your answers are, took me about 15 minutes.
my trusty Kimber Pro Covert, i know they have a hit or miss reputation, but a few thousand rounds through it with no major issues is good enough for me to trust on my hip every day.
I love my H59s it's the only reticles i run now. While there are plenty of other great reticles, once you really get in and shoot a fair bit behind any of the busier tree reticles all the "expected" confusion goes away. You end up looking through all the suppossed clutter...or at least i do...
Has anyone heard anything on a street date on these? i was super impressed seeing them and handling them back in February. I've been chomping at the bit to get a new scope and want to pull the trigger on these when they launch, but no one seems to know anything new on them.
If they have the Hornady Match Grade dies, go ahead and get those. Started there and was fine out to 1200 or so, bought the .288 Redding Bushing because the Hornady ones are made of unicorn dust, and later added the micrometer seating stem, but i've run a few thousand rounds over the last 2...
My MPA BA 6.5 comp gun with Bushnell HDMR weighs in right at 16.9 lbs empty. For me the balance is more important the the raw weight. As long as it's nimble/handy enough i think a reasonable weight helps me build better positions and i feel it "settles" better into an NPOA when shooting...
It's a 6.5CM, 26inch MPA barrel, TriggerTech Special Flat Shoe Trigger set at 1lb 3.9oz, MPA comp chassis, MPA brake, mounted my trusty Badger unimount with my HDMR in it (will upgrade to the XRSII when they are released though)
Been looking at upgrading scopes, this thing looked amazing in person and I'm definitely in whenever the first group buy happens at launch! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
In Lapua 43.2 Varget under at 178 AMAX is not compressed for me, but if i work up to 43.5 it was so i'm sure 43.2 is right on the edge, but i no longer hear the "crunching" when seating the bullet. In my 18" DPMS SASS this load is giving me right around 2430 m/v. I'm loading to right at 2.805 btw.
for whatever reason i never checked this thread back to respond. I'm loading mine at 2.805. Honestly the .005 has no significance i just didn't think it would matter vs the 2.800 that the manual said. They still fit mag and have shot lights out for me so i've never tweaked it. Sorry to make...
I'm running the 178 Amax over 43.2g of Varget in Lapua brass with CCI primers. load is as accurate as i can hold. i've also run 43.5 in Federal cases to similar success. I'm running the SASS but i'd imagine you should have similar results.
Just got me a chargemaster a month ago. How i reloaded for 3 years without i don't know. What used to be an annoying chore in throwing, trickling, repeat over and over....is now an amazing let it throw/trickle, powder the case, move the dish back and prepare to seat the bullets, i can actually...
