    Under appreciated - The 280 Ackley Improved

    My friend has over 75 custom made rifles . The two most accurate rifles he owns are 280ai. Which in turn inspired me to build one. The 280 ackley I own is crazy accurate at long range and is so much more enjoyable to shoot compared to the magnums.

    Re: 280 Ackley Improved optimal twist rates Just picked mine up from the smith last week. 1:9 kreiger , spent a long time with load development . Ended up shooting the 180 gr. hybrid Bergers the best. 57.5 gr. rl22. Shot several groups in the .1s and .2s Chip
