Question for all. Crimp or no crimp? My experience loading for the AR platform is limited. Most of my loading for the AR will be coyote hunting extending to mid range plinking based. However, I do want to load some FMJ “ shoot the hell out of it” stuff too.
Man I sure appreciate the replies guys! I’m feeling more confident in my initial plan of 18”. That would give me 26” overall with the suppressor. Do any of you have any experience with N550 in these shorter barrel 6.5s? That was another powder listed from quick load that will give a full burn...
So I have a 6.5x47 that was my PRS rifle. I’m going a different route for matches and looking for something to do with the 47. My thought, cut the 6.5x47 down to 18” for a suppressed hunting rifle. What do you guys think? What projectile would you...
If I could manage in the 2700s with a 130 class bullet I would be happy. The other big concern is excessive build up in the suppressor due to unburnt powder.....thoughts?

I had the same questions earlier in the year. I called MPA and was told if your chassis was manufactured around or after this past December (2018) then there should be clearance. If prior to that it will most likely need opened up.
That’s what the lady said. I called her yesterday and she said, “well I’ve got some good news. Your form 4 was approved yesterday 8/4/19.” Then proceeded to tell me the form should arrive in about 10 days but could take up to 30.
We have had a couple approvals come back last week on forms mailed in October. Today I called about my personal form 4. Mailed 9/5/18 Payment charged 9/13/18 Approved 8/4/19
