Hunting & Fishing Chitina fishing this yesr

Very cool. Wife and I tried that when we lived up there. Wound up with a broke down Chevy S-10 on the old railroad road (pulley and fan blade came of the water pump and cut through the radiator), spent a night behind the Chitina bar, towed to Glenn Allen and spent 4 days there waiting on...

Need a gunsmith to inlet a DBM and thread a barrel - SE TN or North GA.

Hello all, I have a Rem 700 that I need to have inletted for the PTG bottom metal as well as have the barrel threaded for a PWS PRC brake. The rifle is in a B&C M40 Medalist. Any suggestions on a gunsmith either in the North Georgia or SE Tennessee area that could do it or someone I can...

    Tab Gear Sling for Hunting

Put some shoe goo on the sling where it will sit on your shoulder. I did this to mine and it works pretty good. Doesn't interfere, at least on my setup, with using the sling for shooting either.

    Maggie’s Camara Land Amazon Ad

Nothing like having backup see thru mounts for your see through mount. That gives you long range, intermediate bush sights and really close bush sights. As lowlight, blame the photographer who doesn't have a clue what he's photographing.

Does anyone know the availability of Hodgdon H110

H110 has been scarce since this began. Recently (as in about 2 weeks ago) there was a shipment and that's why there was some sitting on the shelf in Chattanooga. At the distributor I work at we're seeing more come in. The hot powders are still very scarce but it looks like there is a...

    Reloading supply shortage

I am a salesman for a shooting sports wholesaler. The shortages can be attributed to a supply and demand problem. In this case ammo is still in very high demand. Therefore lots of the components are going into loaded ammo. This will create the initial shortage and is still a contributing...

    Rifle Scopes Weaver 3x15x50mm FFP

I've had the 3-15x50 EMDR (mil/mil ffp) on my Remington 700 for 2 years now and love it. It was a bit of a compromise for my rifle, wanted the mil/mil and ffp and eventually hope to shoot to 1000 yards but the primary use will be local target shooting and hunting where distance is quite...

    Please read. The winner is....

Jumping on for details of the raffle. I would definitely be in. Went through a 3 year period of very poor health with my wife after the birth of our second daughter. I can sympathize with what you are going through. Praying for you and your family.

    KRG bolt knob

Really the only way I could imagine it working on anything other than the 700 bolt would be to basically epoxy it in place with JB weld or something. I have one on my 700 and love it but it is very gun specific.

Not sure about that. I bet deer are quite a bit tastier. :-)

Hunting & Fishing Ended deer season with .... first coyote

Yeah, he rocked backwards and didn't move. When I go back I'll likely take my AR as the furthest shot is 220 yards. Had the .308 since I was deer hunting.

    Midway raised there prices....

January 1 is one of the traditional times when many manufacturers in this industry raise their prices. I work for a distributor and across the board, the price increases were pretty much normal. We didn't see any of the crazy price increases we've seen over the past 3-4 years, especially on...
