    Re: Sling stud in a hollow stock..?? Ive added a second stud on a couple tupperware remington stocks. Mix up JB put it in barrel channel,let set up, drill and tap. I also run a steel rod thru forearm with a large box of JB. Adds a couple pounds but stiffens them up.

    Re: Question about action and barrel support... Look around people are running 1.25 straits on remingtons. Im in process of a 6 dasher 1.25 Brux build right now on a remmy. Thought about a barrel block but decided to go without. Seems like alot but its only three pounds heavier than a HV...
