The reason why the wind 1 is high is because the bullet length is too short in the Kestrel. It causes the spindrif calc to be too high and it adds about 2 MOA to wind calls. Go into Bullet Diameter then bullet length set calc off then back on. This resolves the over spindrif calculation for now.

Hi Kestrel Ballistics, It is 4 July I am having the same problem on brand new model I bought this week. I use Lapua bullets 6.5 Scanars and 6mm Scanars. Both gun profiles have this problem. I am running iOS v12.3.1. Kestrel link build 195 On Kestrel it is FW1.27 boot1.01 HW 11B. Model 5700AL.

I have used Strelok, Ballistic AE and BallisticARC. My choice is Ballistic AE as Ballistic AE have the option to correct my optics error. (Bryan Litz Tall Test) This makes a difference from 600m onwards to1500m. Thus Ballistic AE keeps on being accurate past 1000m for me
