    Re: ring height question? Hello, for what its worth.. I have a 56mm obj springfield scope on a remington 700 5r using a badger 20moa base and standard height rings. I have a flip up cap on the scope and it almost touches the barell. Hope this helps.. Chris

    I was wondering if I could get some help figuring out exactly what this is. I have found other 03-A3 guns on the net and in books but none seem to have the same barell as this one. This has a date on the end of the barell next to the sight of RA, 3 - 43. Looks like a cannon ball in between it...

    Millett BK810004

    Re: Millett BK810004 I have a friend that has a 5r with a Millett LRS-1, 6-25x56 with a 35mm tube. IMO, the scope was very clear and tracked very well from 100 to 500 yards throughout the day. It has a mil dot reticle with half mil hash lines which I thought was very nice.
