Thanks for the replies, ended up buying the gun and I am very happy with it, The factory trigger feels like its from a gun costing much more than the price point the little ruger comes in at.
Had a guide ask me what the 44 was for? I said bear protection. He said can I see it ,I said sure he walks over to a bench grinder in the shop and turns it on...I yell what are you doing!!!! he says grinding off the front sight so when the bear shoves it up your ass it doesn't Hurd so bad!

Thanks guys, she has 5 rounds down the tube,My 80 year old neighbor owns the rifle since new so i do know the history, I might be rebareling with a hart barrel, I would like a heavier barrel on it,
Do any of you guys have any experience with this caliber? I have a opportunity to pick up one with a fixed 12x leupold on it for 500 bones ...seemed like a good deal, going to uses it mostly for coyotes and some does once in a while, thanks in advance,

Re: Watches ??
I have had a luminox tactical for three years now, its been in -30 below zero to 125 above with no issues. The salt water has taken off the numbers on the bezel but that's about it.
