    Rifle Scopes TORIC 30mm FFP 4-20X50 vs SWFA 5-20

    I have the Tract 4-20 30MM with the PRS reticle and it’s a superb optic. A bit heavy for a dedicated hunting rig, but the glass and reticle IMO is more versatile. I’ve only looked through an SWFA 1-4 years ago, so I can’t directly compare the two.

    Sirboom-I have the TORIC 30MM PRS model and it’s fantastic. They also just released a 4.5-30x56 TORIC with a 34MM tube for $1,800 if I remember correctly. It’s a beefy scope with large turrets that’s easy to adjust and the glass is better than most big name manufacturers in its price range...

    Slop between upper and lower help

    Get the lower receiver drilled and tapped for an upper tensioning screw. You can buy those for less than $1 at Ace Hardware. BTW, I personally haven’t noticed any impactful accuracy improvements with a tight fitting receiver set. Granted, the upper shouldn’t be flopping over side to side but...

    Ar15 scope mounts question: 1 piece vs rings?

    Also, the one piece mounts made specifically for AR’s will have the correct ring height (apprx. 1.5”) for proper alignment with your eye.
