There are several brands of barrels with different rifling configurations that are faster than most. Years ago the Rock 5R barrels were known to be faster. The 5R AR15 barrels Blackstone Arms is selling average 90fps faster than other AR barrels but the 14.5" I shot Saturday was 130fps faster...

Tested another 14.5" 5R barrel today, ave 130fps faster than the 14.5" BCMs I have tested. I'm good with people thinking velocity doesn't matter.

#1 You already have that figured out, that barrel mounted rail was a STUPID idea. Same receiver mount is still the best. The barrels may be raw untreated steel, borescope the barrel to see if it is covered in rust. Then I think you will need to lap the crap out of it.

Old thread I know but things are changing-Best deal on plates right now, Buffman tested these plates on youtube. They have edge to edge protection and run about $200 a PAIR, weigh 4.5lbs I think depending on size and cut. Yeah they're made in china but less than half the price of others and...

Old thread but the Javlin A JAC has some features that others don't including plates load from top . Before I had to mix bags from one company and cummerbunds from another and placards from another. They aren't advertised much but worth a shot

Try the 80 ELDs with H4895 seems like 24.8-25.1gr. Check the valkyrie forum for "little red rockets" the guys over there found that load produced enough velocity(3000fps) to overcome bullets with higher BCs and better accuracy at the same time.

There are 2 trigger(not hammer)springs that go with those triggers a 3.5 and a 4.5lb. The gold spring is a 4.5 and the black a 3.5.
