    flatland it will be going into hogue overmold with aluminum frame. Has any one installed PTG in that stock? Kelson no didnt use the bar, it's a good size torque wrench though for a in/lbs type. I think you hit the nail on the head, the crews and screw seat both have angle to them so the bolt...

    Steel targets that can handle the big sticks?

    My local club has some of the JC targets hanging from 300 yards and out all are 3/8 inch plates. They have been up for couple years now and not a dint in them. Club has 400 members and stays fairly busy, I bet those plates stopped more lead in two years than an average gun owner can shoot in 20.

    Guys need your recommendation on a bottom metal made out of steel to put on my SPS with hogue overmold stock with aluminum frame. The factory piece cracked from me over tightening the damn thing and not paying attention to the setting on the torque wrench. So if you would please recommend one...

    Dont get discouraged Tempest. From what I understand jonsey is busy this time of year. He might pick up in a spring. Again I dont know much and take what I said with a grain of salt.

    Yes it will work fine, but it's very nasty stuff when done in a "garage" environment. You will have lots of chemicals burning off that would be bad if inhaled. Just get a hold of wheel weights and go at it, or just buy already smelted ingots for about a buck per pound.
