New rifle
Did you ever try that new ammo for your groups? I just picked up the rem700 aac 308. 1-10 twist. I wanted to see what the best groups you got with what ammo.... I too have that exact setup as you, my scope had the mildot tho. Still have factory trigger, I do a little smith work and on my 223 sps...- cptchuck

Re: why are they saying my ammo is wrong for my twist? I love the triger pull, it was way to light to start with, I want not used to something liket that. But After 2 time taking it out I was more than used to it. I want to figure out what its set at and make my other guns the same way...- cptchuck

Put a new scope on and sold it for 525, i paid 500 and put a hawke sidewinder 30 6.5-20x44 scope on it. B4 the new scope I was shooting 1/2in...- cptchuck

My gun was said to be a 223 1:9 twist, the ammo that works best for me is the 35NTX and 53Vmax superformance Hornaday and its favorite most accurate is 40gr Vmax fiocchi. I had been looking to build up a bolt action tac driver. We never have gun shows in my county and all the sudden one came to town!!
