    6CM to ARC?

Recently switched to a 6 Creedmoor for my main bolt action hunting rifle. Instantly wished I had downsized to 6mm a very long time ago, works great and no recoil. Judy chopped the barrel to 16” (preferred length) and I’m getting 2630 with factory ELD-M. Didn’t expect it to slow down that much...

Monolithic uppers coming from Icon Defense (former Mega Arms guys)

I wonder if these parts match the original Mega finish? I’ve found nothing else that does and I’ve got a billet lower that’s Form 1’d.

RRS Vs Fatboy Vs Two Vets Tripods

Came here to say this. If you can afford RRS you won’t regret the investment.

Common manual of arms in carry pistol (safety/mag release/etc)

I like the paddle release and think it’s a superior design. Whatever your flavor is… pick something and stick with it.

    Maven, Leupold, Trijicon, NF

I have a triji credo 2.510x56. A departure from most discussion on this thread, but wanted to add that you shouldn’t rule Trijicon out if whatever scope you’re looking at has the features you desire. They’re good products for the $. A better “cheap” scope than all the others I’ve tried

What's your sleep set up ?

I use an Exped mat because they’re the most comfortable. Don’t skrimp on R value if it’s going to be cold. I have a quilt with 3.6oz Climashield Apex insulation. It’s light, manages moisture like a champ, and is crazy warm. I have been plenty warm down into the 30’s with just this and merino...

Gunsmithing Seekonk Precision Torque Wrench worth it?

I had one set at a specific torque value for my AI during barrel swaps. It was nice to know it applied the same torque, every single time for repeatability. I’d definitely buy again. Good stuff.

    Barrel threading for suppressor

I’ve used Morgan for barrel threading a dozen times in the last 6-8yrs, just mail him barreled action and he’ll mail it back. Great job, fast, good prices. Deal with confidence.

Thoughts on Piston System For Precision Upper...

Who cares how dirty the brass gets? Weren’t we talking about accuracy? Geez.

Precision Rifle Gear One Hundred Concepts Large Objective Scope Cap Feedback

I’ve got a set of your Scope Caps on both ends of my 56mm scope. I love the concept, have never had a traditional type that I cared for. It’s a bit busy and clumsy trying to rig up all the shock cord on a 13” long scope and in practice the Ranger bands don’t make things as solid as I’d like. I...

Hunting & Fishing Night Hunting - Optics Preference

This is absolutely spot on. I’d say the vast majority of the population need to focus on skipping 1. and going straight to 2. Don’t waste your money buying any variety of NV for the first night time optic. That goes for the NV scopes and NODS + laser. You can be absolutely deadly (hunting...

Looking for a better hunting scope for my rifle

I really like my Triji Credo 2.5-10x56 for a hunting scope. Clean simple illuminated mil reticle, great glass, not too heavy, can live with SFP @ 10x max. It’s absolute no brainer when EuroOptic puts them on sale.
