    Re: Which 1911 for $1000 For a good budget 1911 I have to go with Sig. I have 2 of them I bought private party for under $800 each. We had an Ed Brown Special Forces, a couple Kimbers, A full rail TRP and the Sigs at the range. The Sigs held their own quite well.
