    Thanks, I've been out of the loop for awhile and this is interesting. I have a few vertical Warnes so I'll have to test rtz dialing more now. I take it that LaRue and ADM clamp a bit differently or do I need to rethink those now too? I just bought some horizontal Warne rings to try out.

    This. Sako is probably thinking of the SS HD line. I have the ET6-24x50 and I still can't tell if the glass is any better on my SS5-20x50. The SS is better in a couple other ways (tougher, better turrets) but optically the Bushnell is very nice and probably has an edge on any nonHD SS scope...

    So Vortex is much better than a Bushnell made in a similar if not exactly the same Japanese plant as the Sightron which you claim would in turn be better due to its origin? Anyway, I think my Bushnell 6-24x50 ET is very close, if not equal, to my SS5-20x50 as far as glass clarity/brightness.
