Hunting & Fishing WTF!!!!!!!! Our Tax Dollars at work in Montana!!

Re: WTF!!!!!!!! Our Tax Dollars at work in Montana!! I almost guarantee you that the officer has a lot of pictures of the animal and him after the kill. They could have accomplished the same thing shooting something small or nothing at all. The officer got caught up in the whole deal...

Hunting & Fishing Got me a Kitty!

Re: Got me a Kitty! That is one huge cat. I use to live up by West Glacier, MT. We have seen a few cats through the years but never had a chance to hunt one. I would definitely have to full mount one that big. Very impressed. Congrats!

Hunting & Fishing Video! South texas doe hit in the neck!_added vids

Re: Video! South texas doe hit in the neck!_added I thought Jeremy probably had too long of a break. I thought I would add this picture of a deer my wife shot in the neck, deer was facing head on at 350 yards. I don't know, she said it was simple. Just point and shoot.

Hunting & Fishing Been watching hunting shows and.

Re: Been watching hunting shows and. A friend of mine had one in 257 weatherby. That was until he had to have a follow up shot. The gun wouldn't eject a belted cartridge and he couldn't get his fingers on it to get it out. Deer ran off on three legs to never be seen again. SOLD IT!

Hunting & Fishing Wife and her OK deer

Re: Wife and her OK deer It is a GAP templar in 7wsm, #7 barrel contour, McMillan A3-A5 stock, Jewel trigger 12oz, and a Night Force 5.5-22 with zero stops. It's a lot of gun for her but accurate. She shoots it off a shooting table with a bipod and monopod. She is doing real well at the...

Hunting & Fishing Wife and her OK deer

Re: Wife and her OK deer Thanks guys. She has been asking me everyday if I posted them. She is proud! She got to experience the whole deal. Gutting, deboning and packaging of the meat. She had her own knife and was getting into the whole thing.

Hunting & Fishing Wife and her OK deer

We finally had to give up hopes on a big one. She got these two and was proud of them. Maybe next year she will have a chance. She still wants to get another one on the late December hunt. I ended up taking a doe and button buck on the last night of season too.

Hunting & Fishing A-Max Bullets for hunting

Re: A-Max Bullets for hunting Started out my new GAP 7wsm with berger 180's. I was disappointed in the results. I came from a 30-378 weatherby to this gun. The bullets weren't expanding unless I hit some major bone. Switched to the 162 Amax. Extremely impressed, between my wife and I, we...

Hunting & Fishing Who likes junk?

Re: Who likes junk? Those type of racks make good european mounts. Makes them look kind of evil. It would make a real good shoulder mount too. NICE! I like it.

Hunting & Fishing Texas Hog Hunt With Spear

Re: Texas Hog Hunt With Spear The only way i see a spear working is being throwed out of a tree. I've chased wounded hogs trying to finish them off and they can run. I can only imagine how fast a healthy one is. Now if your using dogs-simple. Like surffshr said, in oklahoma they just...
