    CZ 457

Where have all the aftermarket barrels gone? The Lilja is out of stock, and all the others I had bookmarked are no longer listed. Looking for a heavy match barrel, 20" or a bit more, with American muzzle threads.

    Precision rimfire zero distance?

I've done the same math and agree 35 would follow the 100 yard centerfire logic pretty well. The downside is that 35 yard target markers at most rifle ranges are kinda rare in the US. It's far easier and more convenient to just pick either 25 or 50, the difference is not that big a deal.

    CZ 457

Good point, it actually does shroud the magwell. I didn't notice because it's flat and really doesn't help loading the mag. The ones I mentioned are angled to guide the mag into the magwell. But the XRS stock for CZ is not open like a normal AICS mag opening in other chassis. I guess I'm out of...

    CZ 457

I put my 457 in an MDT XRS stock - will either the MPA or Anarchy Outdoors mag well insert shroud work?

    AI chassis for Anschutz

Someone earlier said they’ve been waiting over two years for 10 round mags, or something like that. I wouldn’t know, I’ve never had an Anschutz.

    AI chassis for Anschutz

This will be painful to watch. I really want one, but without LH options or 10-shot mags, I'll have to drool from the sidelines.

New Lapua Long Range and Super Long Range (Announced)

It’s been my understanding that SK S+, RM, and Lapua CX, M+, and X-act are made on the same line and sorted by consistency. And prices increase with consistency. If SK LRM and Lapua Biathlon are already in the same velocity line, then I’d expect the new LR & SLR to be increasing consistency...

    NIOA Acquires Barrett Firearms Announcement

Sellouts valuing cash over American values. Sad.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

I can’t imagine the Aussie gov’t allowing civilian sales to continue. Perhaps MRAD owners now have rare investments in their safes.

    Favorite Rimfire Rifle?

Currently my favorite is my Vudoo 360 because it's just so damn accurate. It's so satisfying to hit what I aim at with such regularity. But it's heavy ... I could see a plinker being my most favorite, but I'm a lefty. If I could find a stainless Tikka T1x left-handed, I think I might like that...

What are NRL .22 folks using for scopes?

This is a great list to work with. A few additions/notes: Combining your 6 and 2 is where I'm at, so I can't use turrets with more than 10 mils per revolution. I literally sold my ZCO for this reason, even after trying the MKM magnifier. Reticle needs to be pleasing to your eye and not be so...

Welcome to my High Speed Roller Coaster Ride!!

Imagine how much fun it would be if there were match-grade loads for 22 Mag with the Cutting Edge solids on top, and a fast enough twist rate on the barrel.

    Scope>Gun or Scope<Gun

I'd definitely advise gun > scope. Depending on the optic, putting a $400-800 optic on a Vudoo might be a home run where putting a Tangent Theta on a 10/22 not so much.

Vudoo 360 feeding problem manners tcs

Although I own and use one of the GrayOps barricade stops, what made the most difference in eliminating feeding issues for me was adjusting my mag release and the KRG mag well to fit my mags perfectly. A properly seated mag is now almost impossible to notice any movement in any direction when...

Muzzle velocity - how many rounds from each lot do you shoot for the data

I shoot 10 for velocity. I don't change the velocity in the kestrel after that, I just use the drop scale factoring to tune it at distance.
