    JP or GAP 10

Re: JP or GAP 10 I agree with Mil.Dot GAP customer service is the best I've ever had, they are willing to help or fix anything. Sometimes free of charge which is really hard to find nowadays.

GAP10 owners dont use fgmm 168 grain

Re: GAP10 owners dont use fgmm 168 grain I bought two boxes of ammo after work one black hills match and one federal gold medal. The black hills will feed , gold medal won't. Both were 168 grain, sorry Josh I will never stray again. The Copper creek shoots as good if not better and is way...

GAP10 owners dont use fgmm 168 grain

Went shooting yesterday to burn up some old ammo. Around round 8 I had a misfire, I tried to eject the round and found it jammed. I got home and gave the bolt a love tap and the brass and powder came out but the bullet stayed in the chamber. I promptly called GAP and asked for Ken. He called...

What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300

Re: What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300 I use my Gap-10 in a couple different ways. I have my own personal range so for fun I set up man size targets at multiple ranges out to 400 yards and put my aimpoint on and time my shot's . I haven't got my M-4 together yet so I'm...

What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300

Re: What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300 Till now I've always used a 100 yard zero but I will be rezeroing tonight. Holding center mass is a hell of a lot easier and faster. I guess 15 plus years as a civilian has made me a little rusty in the fundamentals .

What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300

Re: What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300 Those are some nice charts which is exactly what Travis says, just point and shoot.

What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300

Re: What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300 I've been a civilian for some time now . But I have a private range that I can shoot to 400 yards. I still love to run timed drills at man size targets with my Gap-10. I'm in the process of putting a M-4 together with a ultramatch barrel...

What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300

Re: What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300 That is pretty much what he is saying , the spread for the same point of aim at all 3 distances was about 5 inches . So even a 500 yard shot would put one right in the old family package , effectively putting him out of the fight . Now...

What yard zero are you guy's using 100,200, or 300

I seen a interesting youtube video by Travis Haley on battlefield zero's. Well it got me rethinking my zero choice . So I figured I would consult the experts, by the way he recommends the 300 yard zero.

    GAP-10 and southwest ammo

Re: GAP-10 and southwest ammo No doubt the gas gun loads rock. I have been exclusively shooting those loads , I just was curious about Southwest with them being a site sponsor. Its time to resupply seeing I just got my upper back with the new handguard and by the way awesome job . Thanks...

    GAP-10 and southwest ammo

Re: GAP-10 and southwest ammo Thanks for your input, if i was reloading it might be worth it. But I'm not set up for reloading yet. They sell a cheaper kind but I'll stick to Winchester brass. I was checking out McCourt munitions, their load is pretty hot from what I've read.

    GAP-10 and southwest ammo

Re: GAP-10 and southwest ammo Thanks for the input, i think i will try a box of each and maybe the 155 secnars also . Does anyone have input about the 155's? Looking at the 175 grain and 155 side by side the 155 looks longer I wont have a problem with the lands will I?

    GAP-10 and southwest ammo

This question is for anyone that shoots southwest ammo out of a GAP-10. Will i notice a difference with the lapua 175 match to the standard 175 match accuracy wise? I mean as long as I do my part with good fundamentals she will shoot 1/2" moa 10 shot groups all day with Copper creek gas gun...
