The Wolfman didn't blow me away on 9mm (I expected it to be way quieter than my Obsidian 9 on PCC, but they are very close), but it does sound very good in both long and short mode. Where it really shines is its versatility. My shooting buddy and I think it sounds FANTASTIC on 556 and 7.62x39...
Congrats to Otter Creek. Looks like all that noise about the Magnus being the quietest 308 can ever was just that - noise. Beat by a can .18" less in diameter, no less!
The Wolfman is awesome with 300 BO, especially subs. Tons of guys use it for 300BO more so than what it was designed for - 9mm! I'm not sure why people tend to think the Wolfman is a delicate can. It's made of 17-4 stainless, like 75% of the other rifle cans on the market. It isn't much...
