    Is scope mounting rocket science?

    Both pics from current listings on the VA Gun Trader. The pistol scope is mounted backwards, and the rifle scope is rotated 90 degrees CCW. Both are decent firearms, with decent scopes - not Walmart gear. Are people really this clueless?

    Is this s a good deal??

    $3200 for a used .308 with 1500 rounds down the tube - rechambered in .300WSM (not a new barrel)? I think I'd shop around, as you should be able to find something from a name-brand builder (GAP, etc) for that kind of money. If that Leupold is used, I paid a grand for the exact same scope...

    Picked up a new Stainless 686 .357, and put 150 rounds through it. Love the gun, but I've never seen such a mother*&@#*! when it comes to cleaning. Broke out the Scotch-Brite pad I use to clean AR bolts with (soaked in Hoppes No. 9), and had to scrub the hell out of the front of the cylinder...
