    X-5 tacitcal seems pretty amazing but at 1600 bucks on gun broker.....its a tough decision. If the barrel was threaded that might push me over the edge but...I'm looking at the TacOps myself as well. Does the TacOps have a trigger like the X-5??

    I have to agree with texas, Colt purposely changed their pin diameters in their AR's so they couldn't be used with other uppers. Have to be about the most un-american gun company. I would never support their products no matter how good.

    I'm about to buy my first handgun, and I really like the the 1911's for trigger and feel. I also really want a high capacity .45. Any reason not combine them and go with a P14-1911? I understand the grip will be larger...but I feel like its killing 2 birds with one stone on gun buying list...

    So the question is can the DTA be adapted to .223 or more like .223ai by SAC?? I'm sure they could make the barrel but can a bolt be found? Or mags? It would make the platform much more attractive to me if possible.
