I would really appreciate it if you would do measure it for me. It's not exactly the type of gun you can go and check out at your local gun shop. I'm trying to find some actual ft/lbs or recoil for that HTI and the M82 so I know just how bad the HTI is.- Deathmore

I was trying to find how long the handguard is on the HTI because I too realized the 20" might be just a little to short for it. I definitely don't think I would feel comfortable cutting up the $5,000 chassis for a few inches of barrel. Maybe I'll just wait and see what they think up next at...- Deathmore

Yea, I was kind of afraid that might be the case. Honestly 30 rounds of .338 lapua from my 110ba were punishing, but for whatever reason I can shoot the barrett all day. I wish there was some way I could check out the HTI in person before I made my decision. That looks interesting, and...- Deathmore

Yea I was wondering how the recoil would compare. Last time I shot my barrett I put about 60 rounds through it in under 30 minutes and I felt find. I'm only 21 so I'm not to worried about the recoil:)- Deathmore

Yes, and it's also 10 pounds lighter which is the bigger issue for me. Unfortunately I just can't justify getting rid of the Semi-Auto fun the M82 offers unless it's for something dramatic. Plus I really see no reason for the extra 9"s of barrel for what I do with it.- Deathmore

I have a Barrett M82CQ(20" barrel) and I absolutely love the gun. However it's just to much of a pig for my needs. I'm in the process of downsizing my whole gun collection and would like to also downsize my 50 BMG. Now obviously DTA are the kings of downsize. I love the SRS, and can't wait to...- Deathmore

GAP10 ShowEm Off Pics
Can anyone tell me the weight of this rifle. Specifically I'm looking for the weight of a .308 with a 16.5" flutted barrel, and a magpul PRS stock. I am in the process of ordering one, but before I pull the trigger I would like to know how much it would weigh.- Deathmore
