Re: tumbling loaded ammo? I have accidentally had a few live rounds in my tumbler just made them really shinny and I learned to check before pouring brass in. I think the manufacturers do it to make it look PERRDY before they put it in that box. I love my SHINNY ICBM's they are more AERODYNAMIC

Re: Experience with SCAR 16 & 17? I just picked up my SCAR 17 the other day and I love it shoots and feels great. I changed the grip to a Houge Grip but as you can see requires some mods but I bought a PSG-1 style grip should be here monday . I have shot out to 100 so far with this setup...

Re: 308 Ammo Choice- Fed Am Eagle or Rem UMC? For plinking I would buy the cheap UMC Ammo for just shooting stuff. For percision ammo I would load my own or buy some I'm a guy who is starting to prefer Hornady ammo.

Saw this online today and was wondering has anyone got one on their rig? It looks as if you head has to be way up of the stock to shoot unless the photo's I have seen are with really high rings. And for 300bucks it would be a risky gamble to get it and hate it because of check weld.
