Re: AR 10 VS M1A EBR They are specific complaints about the EBR stock. Example the Troy MCS allows the M14 to be cleaned without removing the optic from the rifle. They also had complaints about a flimsy butt stock, and pistol grip. These aren't issues with the M14 itself.
