    Re: 1000yd .308? It will be a combined use rifle which for me means I will be moving with it quite a bit. I dont have many 1000 yd ranges near me so it will be an occasional 1k shooter. I have considered 22" as well. Still havnt made up my mind.

    Building a 1000 yd .308 is not all that difficult, but can it be done with a 22" barrel and still be accurate with any amount of velocity?

    Re: pros and cons- Rem 700 S/A and L/A Bacarrat, You can buy a 7mm Rem SA Ultra Mag or a 7mm mag. While the projectile remains the same the brass does not. My question is if I to choose between the two. What are the pros and cons for them, i.e. price, velocity etc? im sorry if I was unclear.
