Howdy all. Id love to try out some Ackely Improved ammo. Im thinking maybe 223 or 243. But do any companies even build Ackley Improved rifles? Or will I have to go down the custom route? And where could I even source Ackely ammo? And can I ask, if Ackely Improved are as good as people say...

Is it safe to assume that in a bolt action if a round cycles properly then the OAL is fine and wont blow up or something when fired?

Just like the title says, all these people getting AI stocks for their 700's, is there any real point to it other than the eye candy aspect? Would I get tighter groups with an AI stock on my 700 then using a different aftermarket stock.

To keep a long story short. I was shooting yesterday with a buddy who was spotting for me. Any time I was off he was able to tell me "come up 2 clicks" then when I was spotting for him all I could say was "you hit low and left", or even worse, a lot of times I didnt see where the shots went at...

Hi all Im buying a 22lr pistol (has to be 22 for legal reasons) Im set on either a Buckmark or a beretta 87 target. Anybody fire both of them? Whats your opinion on them? Which would you go for? Will be mainly just plinking. Nothing too serious.
