    More results: Hornady 285hpbt with Trail Boss (19.0= 1100 fps, 17.0 =935 fps, 16.5 =890, 16.0=860 fps). 17.0 was the most accurate (.3) followed by 19.0 (.5).

    Tried Trail Boss with 338lm (ar-30) shooting Hornady 250gr HPBT with WLRM. Started with 20.0 grains (1225 fps) and stopped at 15.7 grains (890 fps). 20.0 to 18.0 were supersonic but still quiet (sonic crack). 17.5 to 15.7 were subsonic. None key-holed, and groups ranged from .3 to 3 inches...

    AR-30: best retumbo loads so far 85.0 and 91.5, best H1000 loads have been 82.5, and the most accurate and consistent powder has been RL-25 at 83.5 and 89.1.
