    Stainless Steel Media Testimonials

I drain off most of the dirty water after a tumbling cycle. Then I dump my rifle brass, SS pins and remaining dirty water from the tumbler into a basic media separator sitting over a bucket. The bucket sits in a deep utility sink that has a hand sprayer attachment on the faucet (like a kitchen...

Reloading tools: Dial vs Vernier calipers

I own a Craftsman vernier caliper that I bought new 30 + years ago. I can still read it OK and I trust it is accurate since I take good care of my tools. That said, I've been trying to justify purchasing a digital one. I believe a digital one would be a whole lot faster if you have a lot of...

My SS setup + a question [VIDEO]

My SS setup + a question [VIDEO]

OP, It looks like you have a good start with a VERY heavy duty system! High Binder is right about the pulleys. You only need to drive one shaft. The other shaft is just there to support your container. Look at the red Thumler's Tumbler Model B photo for reference. One shaft drives the drum...

    .22 lr ammo???

Northern Twin Cities, Gander Mtn, Mills Fleet Farm and Wal Mart all have zero 22 ammo every time I check. The clerks I spoke to said it sells out in minutes once they get some in.

    Another homemade SS Pin tumbler

Nice job! I wish I could weld like that :) Just guessing your tumbler rpm speed is around 15 ? As a reference, my Thumlers Model B runs at about 44 or 45 rpm.

    Pricing Reloading??

Price range quoted the OP works out to between $11 and $13 per box of 50 (if I did the math correctly). As stated above, the value depends on materials used...cast lead, FMJ, Speer Gold Dot...ect. More info is needed. I would venture a guess that he has between $4 and $8 per box of 50 in just...
