.22 LR ammo is back to normal

Here in Dallas, not so great. .22 can be had, even small quantities of cci mini mag, but it goes off the the shelf very quickly. I believe what the other posters are saying, I'm afraid with elections looming, this is more of a pause than a return to normal.

dillema on what to do with rimfire rifles...

Very poor market on those right now, high initial cost and exceptionally high maintenance and when you throw in the low financial return, well no wonder they don't sell well!

    Upper overhanging a lower OK?

Perhaps measure both to find out if it is one or the other or both components. It it is one only and the other is close, you might think about sending that component back in exchange for one more true to spec. Doc

    Best overall complete lower?

^^^^ If their lowers are anything like their uppers, this one is a gem.

    Best overall complete lower?

PSA stripped "blem" lower, $49.99. What ever "blem" means, I sure can't find it. Excellent fit with a JP upper. No slop, no need for shims, all the pins fit tight, great match up with the feed ramps of a JP upper. Why pay more??? Unless you just have to have some logo on it. Transfer fee...

    Best overall complete lower?

I think given the criteria you put forth, it would leave me at a JP complete fire control package. However if one removes the trigger criteria, then I'd build a Palmetto State Armory "blem" lower with an AR Gold trigger. One of the best quality, least expensive lowers I know of, and you then...

Great vid. Where can I find the scores? Looked on the site but can't seem to find them. Thanks in advance, doc

Going to Get a JP AR-10. What Caliber?

It gets a lot more fun if you can get your wife to do it while you watch football!! :)

    KAC SR25 ER Problem (under-gassed?)

My uninformed and ill thought out opinion is, Rstrick0352 has provided solid advice. The manufacture seems unable or unwilling to do the final tuning this rifle needs. Besides, an adjustable gas block is a good thing, enables greater flexibility and there by greater reliability. I'm thinking...

Going to Get a JP AR-10. What Caliber?

Have to ask, since you don't reload, why bother with all the hassle and expense of picking these calibers? What about beginning to reload? It's a lot of fun and you can make great ammo.

Walt, what is the reasoning behind not holding your breath on the shot? I have a 3 position rife background and was taught by a pretty good instructor, and as you have stated, this does go against what I have always done. Now I will say in skeet, in sporting clay, IDPA, during more aggressive...

What do the very experienced shooters here think is the best bullet for long range semi auto .223? I've been using Black Hills 77g SMK, (in a JP franken gun 1:8 twist) but looking at the price of the 75g blue box, wondering what I would give up if I made a switch. It is my opinion, *not as...
