Been thinking lately about possibly relocating to Georgia coastal area, but I've not had much luck trying to find any clubs or shooting associations to accomodate long range precision shooting. Anyone know of any in that general area? Don Black

Re: Surface rust....at least I hope it's just surface The oil & steel wool suggestions are the way to go. That looks like it's been exposed to an acidic environment (sulfuric, nitric, muratic, or some such). Check for any open or unsealed chemical containers in the area.
