Definitely get a hook and loop under belt to go through your belt loops and a matching gun belt for your belt gear. Being able to shed and don your belt gear quickly and easily is a godsend in a training environment. For example: http://www.cryeprecision.com/ProductDetail/mrbib202lg0_range-belt

I won't discount anyone's experience but a lot of people think they are a lot better at eyeballing "level" than they really are. Without having used a level long enough to find out how good you are at it most shooters really have no idea and fool themselves as to their skill.

There are a lot that work well but when I can get it I use an H59. It depends on your choice of scope though.

I have a .308 CA and a Proof .300 and 6.5CM. The Proofs both shoot lights out and the CA has never shot worth a damn.

I have half a dozen of them. They are great for hunting. Strong, lightweight and easy on and off. I shoot .300 Win Mag off them all the time.
