Hunting & Fishing Slung Rifle, Muzzle up or down?
When I'm hunting I carry it muzzle down on my left shoulder with my hand in the sling. Shot many a critter this way as it allows the gun to be presented swiftly and steadily.- DropZone

Rusty, Ya, that big one may have to be killed by the wife in the next couple of weeks... The mass on the one I shot is pretty incredible. Didn't notice any "recent" injuries, but I did notice that his right foreleg was a tad shorter than his left. The area where I shot him is not hunted but...- DropZone
