Is going to .50bmg worth it?
I also have the Barrett M99. Sadly I also say that it has mostly been novelty. Although I get great enjoyment from watching other people shoot it for the 1st time. Gunsmithing rocksett removal
Well, once again the hide is worth it's weight in gold!! I added a little vitamin P (propane) via my torch and little persuasion and it came right off. Once I took it all the way off the threads everything was black so no real definate answer as to what it was. I'm just happy I can put my own...- durka-durka

Gunsmithing rocksett removal
I've got one that I let sit for a day and a half and soak, but she doesn't even want to think of coming off of there. I didn't use hot water... is that the key? I bought the rifle used so I don't know what was used to put the flash hider on. Suggestions?- durka-durka
