    Id say the best way would be as a couple guys said before by plugging one end and filling it with your cleaner of choice for a period of time then washing out. I haven't done it personally but seems like it would work good.

    Midcities, I've never heard of Bowers I'll have to look those up, that's a good idea on taking them apart frequently though my buddy had a sparrow he couldn't take apart because it got so filthy.

    Gol thanks for the offer but I'm not a huge fan of the A5s. That HS3 looks really good though I'm really liking their new ESS chassis they have coming out but no model 7 support that I can find so far.

    Eesh yea I don't like that part I guess. Not that big of deal but makes a guy think he needs to play around with one before he pulls the trigger on buying. If it turns out I don't like it now I have a bigger hole in my action and would have to drill out whatever new stock or chassis I end up...

    Thanks Lefty, I saw that video helps relieve a guy when a barrel maker says you don't necessarily have to break a barrel in by doing what I was originally suggested which is cleaning it till you never want to shoot it again.

    That's good to know, I have an LSS on my rem 700 .308 and it's cool but I'm not that impressed with it so didn't plan on going that route again for this one. Just wish they weren't the only ones thinking about the model 7 when it comes to chassis.
