Good luck calling GAP i have a good friend of mine that his BIL just bought a GAP 10 308 and it would take any factory ammo like Federal Gold Match or BHA etc. He called GAP and they told him to shove it. Suppressors Sub sonic .308 load
I shoot a 170 grn 30-30 bullet with 10.5 gr of trailboss out of a Remington 700 police that was cut down to 18inches with a 1-12 twist and a YHM Titanium can. Im going to try the 180s when i find them. Eventually i will re-barrel it to a 1-10" barrel- Dwclifton

Good 308 Sub load w/ Varget, 4895, or H1000
Anybody have any luck shooting subs through a 1-12 twist. I have an older 700 police that came factory 26- 1-12. I know it wont shoot 200-220 gr bullets at all. I was told to use a 170 gr flat base 30-30 style bullet. Does anybody know if yalls 178amax or 175 smks will stablilize. Eventually i...- Dwclifton
