Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
As already mentioned, check out the Hellfire mounting system from Area 419. I prefer it over DeadAir, as well as SilencerCo's MAAD/Trifecta and ASR. It's a quiet ratchet less system that's also significantly lighter in both adapter and mount than the others. It brought the overall weight of my...
I appreciate that you don't Ray. That's why TBAC and SilencerCo (one material suppressors like the Saker and Omega #K), along with Area 419, will continue to get my business. The Qs have a conical shape to their exit hole, and if the EDM bore cuts into that, makes it asymmetrical. Just like you...
It probably hasn't had a revision, as it's designed to both attach to a Sig tapered and to other non tapered barrels. I can't find a dimensional drawing, maybe someone can measure how far up the threads start, so we could compare against our non Sig barrels to determine if there are enough threads.
The question can't be answered by anyone but yourself. Sight the weapon in without the suppressor, then see which direction it's off with the suppressor. Ideally you will be off either up or down, and therefore won't need to time the muzzle device. I use the Hellfire system that allows for using...
Potentially nice optic, but for me it's DOA without more reticle choice. For the 5-25 I'd like to see something like a .040 mrad thin MSR, with more of it lit, and skeletonized bars like the S&B 12-50 P4F;
Good to great prices, optics-world.nl has the 3-27x56 S&B on sale for $4,869 for example. You typically would have to declare your purchase on reentry to the US though, and would therefore be subject to the 16% scope duty.
Another update for Ergonomics Summary. The Ratings For Turret Design chart reminded me of reading Consumer Report magazine before the Internet. Cal, What's your PayPal account name?
I think it's interesting how some people interpret what they are seeing as to being a defect, when in fact it's an indicator of it being very closely aligned to the bore of the rifle it will sit on. This has been verified by the measurements of the machinist. My first rifle suppressor, built...
Cal, Your reviews have been well received by this consumer, and helped me avoid the S&B 3-27, although it may still be a sale if they wake up and either improve the model or get a functional example to you. Keep up the great work, thanks!
