Trying to recall where the RL17 data is from. The source might be the Swiss Rifle forum or the SwissProducts website. Whatever it was, I deemed it legit enough to load. I’m pretty conservative when it comes to this stuff.

Detail stripped and cleaned. Wood coming along nicely but needs more work to draw out some of the dirt. Hopefully put some rounds down it this week.

Not snipery, but definitely antiquiey. I wanted a K11 short rifle to go along with it's longer 1911 brother. Found a few at Simpsons and made a road trip. Picked up what I originally thought to be low serial numbered (16xxx) rifle with a strong bore, some faded bluing, and nice tiger striping...

The first thing I noticed in those two pictures of him was the determination in his eyes. The first was obviously a pose. The second? At that point in his life...that’s not a pose. It’s natural. RIP

I had a box of factory PPU that I initially ran them my 1911 when I first got it. It was $36.99/box. I never bought another. Lol. It hit a 8” steel plate at 100yds off the porch. That was my extent of it’s capabilities...🤷‍♂️

Neat. You got me enthused to dig a particular box out of the basement that’s been “project waiting” since the mid ‘90’s.

Honestly, everything I’ve tried in my 1911 has been a success. I’ve used the Sierras, some old AMAXs I had collecting dust on the shelf, even some bulk Remington 165gr PSPCLs... It’s uncanny. It lIke’s everything. It’s set up with diopter sights (no glass) but it still doesn’t seem to matter...
