Over gassed or under buffered, I see you mention a suppressor in that spec list were you shooting those behind the supressor? If so, welcome to the game, suppressed ar 10's are another world altogether. Does it have an adjustable gas block? I had to go to a JP VMOS with full tungstens weights...
As i have field stripped a Glock for my son I can personally attest that he did it exactly correct, about how it goes every time. 1911 for the win here
I built an Ar-10 from JP parts in 6.5 creedmore and it is the most accurate rifle I own. Hard to run suppressed but with the gas almost no recoil so staying on target for multiple rounds makes lots of bullets fly through the same ragged hole.
I went with the 85 as I pack it with me, I have never really needed any more but have often wondered if I should have gone bigger. That usually stops after I pack it for a few miles, then I am content with 85. You will love it whichever way you go.
