Is the Fat Bastard a little bit of an overkill for a 300WM? I dropped off my 300WM and Fat Bastard yesterday at my local gunsmith, and they called me today to suggest I install a Little Bastard instead...Which they have in stock and will credit me the difference.
OK, So my new brake just came in the mail today and I am about to bring the rig down to the gunsmith. My question is, would it be better to have the brake permanently fixed to the barrel with something like locktite, or not and just have them also make a thread protector?
